Approximately a year and a half ago our sixteen-and-a-half-year-old puppy, Jada, transitioned to the other side of life, and we all missed her from the moment her essence no longer embodied form. My loving, ten-year-old daughter, Skyla, especially missed her.
After Jada passed, Sky and I just held each other and cried.
Finally, in an effort to ease my daughter’s seemingly endless pain, I asked her, “What would make you feel better?” Through tear-streaked eyes my little girl responded, “If I could just talk to her again and whenever I wanted to.”
It was then that an author I had the pleasure of working with, Luna Star Van Atta, came to mind. Besides knowing Luna personally as a very heartfelt and loving soul, I was familiar with her work as a remote viewer for a company that was routinely employed by the CIA.
So I called Luna, explained the situation with Sky, and asked if she could facilitate a connection between the “other” or “after” life and my daughter. Making time in Luna’s busy schedule and establishing a connection for my daughter were both lovingly and easily accomplished. But the story doesn’t stop there.
Luna brought a copy of her Amazon best-selling book, The Secret Life of an Astral Traveler, to a retreat I was hosting in Sedona. I had previously read the book as a text file during my review process, but I now found the book even more captivating and reassuring in hard copy form.
Luna’s book and her work with Sky changed my life forever for the better. It reassured me that there is not only life after what is commonly referred to as death, but also convinced me that my daughter will be able to talk to me whenever she wants, no matter what happens.
Books can entertain and charm, but also have the capability to hold an eternal message that changes lives. Do not let fear stop you from writing your book.
Keep writing!
I hope to see you soon,
Tom
