Like everything else, book publishing has its seasons. There are times when people are more anxious to purchase books and times when they are less eager.
Aligning your hard release date to when readers normally spend their hard-earned cash can significantly increase your chances of accomplishing your sales goals.
The book-buying season when readers are most anxious to purchase books runs from the very early fall into the early winter months, or from the end of August until the first few weeks of December.
That’s the good news.
The bad news is that you may be rapidly running out of time to get your book set up for that season. To take full advantage of the sales season, you want to release your book as early in that season as possible. Before the airwaves get too crowded with readers talking about other books.
So to fit your book into that sales flow for this year, what can you do?
First, if you have yet to write the book you want to release in the fall of this year, you can still get the job done, but you have to act fast. What do I recommend?
Use my book-writing method to write, revise, and ready your book for publication in a week. You heard me write (oops). You can easily do so by laying out seven consecutive eight-hour days, using the first three days to write your book and the last four to revise and/or ready the book for publication.
Another option, of course, is to attend a Write Your Book in a Weekend Virtual Retreat.
What if your book is already written?
Get it to us by mid-June to guarantee that it will be ready for release early in the fall.
Either way, if you want to take advantage of this upcoming fall/winter sales season … act when?? NOW!
