Sunshine in Darkness:
Historical Trauma of Afro-Caribbean people
Book Synopsis
The book captures the lives and legacy of ardent people who once lived in a tiny village in the Caribbean basin. Their lives incorporated all the essential virtues of humanity and human generosity, ideals, and kindness. The book documented the dynamic contributions made by the citizens. It was a community that operated solely to ameliorate society, which incorporated equality and tolerance for a free community. The literature provides exploratory information that describes how the populace recognized and acknowledged that they were inseparable from nature, essential for the village’s prosperity. It was a village where culture, folklore, and heritage reign. They had the knowledge and understanding to execute rules, ideas, mores, ethics, and even unwritten customs effectively in their daily activities. This non-fiction novel explores the meanings and essences of the populace lives’ experiences. The literature focuses on the wholeness of their experiences rather than individual achievement. A remarkable village with an impeccable human value that is no longer in existence, it has disappeared.
