A recent Blog “1,500 Words per Hour Reconnects to the Inspiration that is Your Book,” included directions to access The Divine Author Within State. In this state, you lose track of time as your pen flies across the page or your fingers move like lightning across the keyboard. Wisdom, guidance, and understanding pour through you.
This freedom to heal, to create, and to step into your life’s purpose must be supported by generating the space and time for it. Often, when suffering, we use the lack of time as our greatest excuse for not facing that which needs to be faced. Here is the good news: the directness and efficiency of this method doesn’t require a lot of time, but does need devoted space and alone time.
Early in the morning, in the middle of the night, or after waking from a deep sleep or nap are the most open opportunities to write because the physical, mental, and emotional are not yet fully awake and dominating the spirit.
Also, while it may seem like an impossible (and down-right cruel) request, I strongly encourage you to avoid caffeine before and during your writing sessions.
Please keep these suggestions in mind as you approach your scheduled writing time and future exercises here. Give it a try and experience for yourself how much joy, laughter, and speed are possible when spirit is leading the way!
Keep writing!
I hope to see you soon,
Tom
